Nobuo Uematsu was born on March 21, 1959 in Kochi Japan. He is a self-taught musician who began playing the piano at age eleven. Nobuo grew to become one of the most well-known and influential composers in the video game industry. He is best known for scoring most of the titles in the Final Fantasy series by Square-Enix. His work is celebrated by millions of music and video game fans all around the world. Nobou continues to produce music, remaster the classics and perform live in concert with his band Earthbound Papas.
